Odsal Fire Station

Odsal Fire Station, built in 1965, is situated to the south of Bradford and serves an area with a wide diversity of people and risks. There is a population of around 100,000 and the area incorporates approximately 40,000 dwellings.

Odsal has one fire appliance, one Watch Manager 4x4 vehicle and a team of 22 firefighters providing a 24/7 emergency response.

Odsal personnel are committed to continually improving the service provided to the local community and the people of West Yorkshire. This service is enhanced by providing continuing training, improved communications and better inter-agency co-ordination and cooperation. 

Our Safer Communities Prevention Strategy ensures that we identify and work to reduce the risk to those people that are most vulnerable and at risk of Fire as well as other in home risks such as falls and cold homes. Support and assistance is provided by ensuring relevant information is available to our partner agencies who can provide the greatest help and assistance.
