Featherstone Fire Station

The small town of Featherstone is situated to the east of Wakefield and is in a predominantly rural area with a population of 16,198 incorporating 6,815 dwellings. 

Featherstone Fire Station, built in 1966 has since been refurbished. The station is managed by a station commander and is staffed by full time local retained support officers and retained firefighters who operate the ‘on call’ retained duty system.
