Mirfield Fire Station
Mirfield Fire Station was constructed in 1965 and sits on the outskirts of the village centre. The station covers the area north east of Huddersfield and is approximately 12 square miles with a population of 23,943 and incorporating 10,086 dwellings. It includes Mirfield and the smaller villages of Kirkheaton, Hopton and Grange Moor and borders with Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, Brighouse, Cleckheaton and Dewsbury Fire Stations.
