Rescue from Water - Farnley, Leeds

Report of a male who had been walking his dog and was now stuck in a culvert in fast flowing water following inclement weather.  Crews on scene requested a further water rescue crew and the assistance of Ambulance Hazardous Area Response Team for use of their water rescue assets.  The male was rescued from the water and checked over by Ambulance Service. Police also attended. 

During this rescue two firefighters briefly entered the water, but removed themselves downstream as per our protocol. They were not injured.
