House fire - Pontefract Area

Fire in a kitchen of a two-storey mid terraced property.  Crews used 2 hose reels and 2 breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire and positive pressure ventilation was used to clear the smoke.  Ambulance service also attended to check over 4 children.  Smoke detectors were fitted but were not working.

Assistance was also requested from South Yorkshire Adwick appliance, their services were not required.
