High rise building fire - Bradford
Residents local to Bolton Road are advised to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke in the vicinity.
Please avoid the area where possible to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.

Five crews and one aerial ladder remain at the scene of the fire. Crews are using the aerial and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire. There is still a large amount of smoke in the air so residents are being asked to keep doors and windows shut, and avoid the area if possible. Structural engineers and our Fire Investigation colleagues are also at the scene.

This incident is being scaled down to three crews, the aerial ladder is leaving the scene.

Firefighters from across West Yorkshire are currently dealing with a high rise building fire on Bolton Road, Bradford.
Fire involved in roof of 8 storey unoccupied apartment block.
Ten fire engines and two aerial appliances are in attendance.
