Flat Fire - Chapel Allerton Area

Flat fire in a 14 storey high rise block, microwave involved. 1 x 45 hose length and 2 breathing apparatus used to extinguish the fire and positive pressure ventilation used to clear smoke.  One adult female casualty sustained burns to hands and feet and suffered the effects of smoke inhalation, was given first aid on scene by fire service personnel prior to the arrival of Yorkshire Ambulance Service.  Smoke detectors were fitted and actuated.
