Bradford Building Fire Make pumps 10
By 4.30pm the fire was vastly reduced, with just four crews and one aerial appliance left attending. Crews are now scaling back and members of the public are being told not to worry about smoke which may still be visible, as it is not harmful.
By 20:57 there was just one Bradford crew on scene, who came away shortly after. The Watch Manager then closed the incident at 21:00.
Crews are currently dealing with a fire which broke out at a single storey building close to Bradford city centre.
We were called just before 3.30pm today to reports of a fire at an industrial premises on Buck Street, Bradford. On arrival, the building was engulfed in flames. Firefighters used jets to bring the fire quickly under control.
Due to the size of the fire and its location, crews from Bradford, Cleckheaton, Rawdon, Morley, Cookridge, Hunslet, Todmorden and Dewsbury attended, alongside an aerial rig from Bradford and Huddersfield. It was confirmed early on that no one was inside the building.
